Canterbury is home base. The round covers the walled city and Cathedral quarter, the university side of town, and the villages just outside. Three different settings, three different sets of camera and Wi-Fi problems.
The core round. Inside the city walls, narrow medieval lanes and timber-framed buildings sit inside a genuine conservation area around the Cathedral, cable runs and external fixings need a lighter touch here than almost anywhere else on this round, and often formal consent. Heavy tourist footfall past front doors year-round means doorbell motion zones need setting tighter than a quiet residential street.
The university side of town. With the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church both nearby, a large share of the housing here is let to students, so a lot of our work is landlords wanting a camera on the front door and side access of a house in multiple occupation, checked between tenancies rather than watching tenants day to day.
Villages a short drive out, covered as a standard part of the round. Mostly owner-occupied houses with generous gardens, a different job profile to the city centre's listed buildings and student lets.
Our standard round runs from Canterbury out to Sturry, Rough Common, Chartham and Bridge, comfortably covering CT1, CT2 and CT4. Anything further out we will take on request, travel time will show in the quote. If you are inside the area above, we are your local installer.
